Well, it’s been a long road, getting from there to here…
After almost a decade in development, we’ve finally gotten The Romulan War out from my laptop and into the world where folks can get a good look at where we’ve been so far and where we want to go. It’s only been a few days since we launched and so far, so good... I think. Since I've never been involved in a crowdfunding campaign, I have no real way of tracking from personal experience how things are actually going. I know that so far I've been getting a lot of positive feedback about our campaign page and our website, which hopefully counts for something.
I feel lucky to have had a supportive team in Nashville to help me get through this. They've taken time out from their busy personal lives to attend our "Admirals Club" meetings and help in various ways big and small - all of which I am deeply grateful for. So thank you to Denise Kerlikowske, Bob Giordano, Elvis Wilson, Allen Carver, Rick and Debbie Lorentson, Jim Grinstead, and of course my daughter, Sophia who somehow manages to throw me a curve at every meeting even though I let her use the hotspot on my phone! And of course a big thanks to all who have contributed so far!
Anyway, if you haven’t seen it yet, take a few minutes to watch our pitch video and to then take the next step by contributing directly to our Indiegogo campaign. We’ll be offering some supercool perks and I’ll be talking more about those next week, but in the meantime, here’s a few of our “Mission Briefings” to get you up to speed on the story so far.
Take care and feel free to contact us at TheRomulanWar@gmail.com! Thanks and LLAP!
